About
About AlexaFeed
AlexaFeed is a small, independent publication about running channels that stay on air: lofi, sleep sounds, ambient, radio-style and podcast streams on YouTube and Kick.
Where we came from
AlexaFeed began in 2019 as a tool for publishing short daily audio briefings to smart speakers. That world has shrunk. The people we used to help, podcasters, newsletter writers and small radio-style shows, now ask a different question: how do I keep my audio and video playing for an audience around the clock? That is what this site is about now.
Who writes the guides
Guides are written and checked by the AlexaFeed team. We publish as a team rather than under personal bylines. Every guide is checked against the primary sources listed at the bottom of the page, and corrections go to our contact address.
What we cover
- Formats and setup: starting a lofi, sleep sounds, ambient or radio-style channel, and building a stream that runs 24/7.
- Rights and policy: music licensing, Content ID on live streams, and the YouTube and Kick rules that hit looped channels.
- Uptime and money: stream limits, archives, watch hours and what an always-on channel costs and earns.
- Audio to always-on: turning a radio station, podcast or daily briefing into a stream that never stops.
Start with the lofi channel hub, which lists every guide in reading order.
How we work
Every policy, price and limit links to its primary source with the date we checked it. Where a platform documents nothing, we say so instead of guessing. The full method is on How we check.
We recommend tools we would use ourselves, and we say what they cannot do. Links to recommended tools may carry tracking tags so we can see which guides are useful; we do not accept payment for placement.
